About the Club
A private sportsman's club serving the Berthoud community since its founding.
Our Mission
The Berthoud Sportsman's Club is an organization devoted to offering and supporting recreational opportunities for its members, and to promoting the safe enjoyment of outdoor recreation within the community.
Our club focuses on providing access to Loveland Reservoir for fishing, along with supporting hunting and other outdoor activities in the Berthoud, Colorado area. We are committed to responsible stewardship of our natural resources and fostering a welcoming community for outdoor enthusiasts.
Membership
Membership in Berthoud Sportsman's Club is limited to 135 persons. This cap ensures that our facilities remain well-maintained and that every member has a quality experience on the water and in the field.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Residents of the 80513 zip code receive priority placement on the waiting list.
Each candidate requires one primary endorser who must reside in 80513 and one secondary endorser with voting privileges in the club. The current waiting list is approximately 4 years at the current retention rate.
Applications are processed in the order received. Successful applicants are elected by vote at the annual meeting. Initiation fee and annual dues are payable within one week of election.

Access to Loveland Reservoir with multiple species including trout, bass, and catfish.
Hunting
Hunting opportunities coordinated through the club for members in good standing.
